Two engines available

Apache Airflow

  • Design DAGs visually.
  • Configure tasks and dependencies.
  • Validate the design.
  • Import Python files within the supported scope.
  • Generate Python code for Airflow 3, tested with 3.3.2.
  • Save projects and share read-only copies.

GitHub Actions

  • Design workflows visually with jobs and dependencies.
  • Configure events, jobs and steps.
  • Import existing YAML files within the supported scope.
  • Use Python, Node.js and Docker templates.
  • Validate structure and logic, and detect certain security risks.
  • Generate YAML files for .github/workflows/.
  • Save projects.

How it works

  1. 01
DesignBuild a flow visually or import a compatible file.
  2. 02
ValidateReview errors and warnings before generating.
  3. 03
GenerateGet the Python or YAML file to use in your own environment.

What it does not do

Pipeline Studio does not run, deploy or orchestrate your pipelines or workflows. It also does not connect automatically to Airflow installations or GitHub repositories. The generated files are used on their respective platforms.

When importing, the content is analyzed as text and is never executed.

Free, with limits

  • 4 new projects per day
  • 20 Python or YAML exports per month, shared between engines
  • Up to 100 saved projects
  • 20 shared links per month, Airflow only

The limits may change; inside your account you always see how much you have used and when it resets.

Sharing (Airflow only)

Sharing creates a read-only copy. By default only signed-in people can see it; if you want, you can let anyone with the link see it, and revoke it whenever you like.
